The recording of the first ScaleDem Open Calls info session is now available online.
During the session held on 20 January, the ScaleDem team addressed key questions on eligibility, selection criteria, and the application process for both open calls, offering practical guidance to organisations interested in applying. The Q&A format helped participants to better understand the scope of the initiative and how the two programmes support the scaling of democratic innovations across Europe.
The open calls invite local authorities, civil society organisations, NGOs, cooperatives, research teams, and mission-driven companies based in the EU or Horizon Europe Associated Countries to apply for two programmes:
- the Piloting Programme, designed for organisations ready to test ambitious strategies for scaling their work
- the Twinning Programme, supporting mentors and mentees seeking to adapt proven democratic innovations to new contexts.
